Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to those of you in the United States of America! Although we are in South Africa, we were able to celebrate the holiday with some fellow Americans and a few South Africans. The turkey and cranberry sauce were not the same as what we would get in the US, but we still had a good feast and some great conversations!
Transition Update
Transition Update
We mentioned in last month’s update that God has directed us to not renew our visa at this time. We are still praying about the way forward. While we don’t know much about the transition at this time, we do know that we will likely be leaving South Africa no later than the first week of February due to the expiration of our visa. We also know that we will be visiting family, friends, and supporters in California. A couple of options have been presented to us outside of California, so the duration of our stay there is undetermined at this time. We are taking those options to the Lord in prayer to see if any of the known options are in line with where He would like us positioned at this time.
Another known item is that Holy Spirit is directing us to book a brief stay in another location prior to arriving in the US. Right now that location in closed due to covid (We refuse to capitalize that name), but trust that Father will open the border at the proper time. After God puts the pieces together, then we will release more information. In the words of our former pastor, “More to follow.” Until then, we do ask that you keep this transition in your prayers. If Holy Spirit reveals anything to you regarding this transition, please send it our way!
